Exhibitions and Stamp Fairs

The Auckland Philatelic Society holds an annual Exhibition, at which philatelic material is exhibited, sometimes on a competitive basis. Up to a dozen dealers, usually including some from out of Auckland, attend the Exhibition. A souvenir miniature sheet is made available to all who attend, and entry is free.

This year's Exhibition was held on Saturday-Sunday 11-12 June at the Mount Albert War Memorial Hall. In 2012 the Exhibition will take place over the weekend of 9-10 June, at the Mount Eden War Memorial Hall. Please note the change of venue.

STAMP FAIRS 2011

APS RED DOT SALES: Saturday 7 May, Saturday 30 July, Saturday 22 October, at the Mt Albert Senior Citizens. Hall.

APS EXHIBITION: Saturday-Sunday 11-12 June, at the Mt Albert War Memorial Hall.

APPEX INTERCLUB COMPETITIVE EXHIBITION: (South Auckland Philatelic Society). Saturday 30 April at the Papatoetoe Town Hall, St George Street, Papatoetoe between 10am and 3pm.

NEW ZEALAND STAMP DEALERS ASSOCIATION (NZSDA) STAMPSHOW: Auckland. August 27-28.
Novotel Ellerslie Convention Rooms. (Note that the Stampshow is being held on a Saturday-Sunday this year).

NORTH SHORE PHILATELIC SOCIETY ANNUAL EXHIBITION: Saturday 1 October at the St Georges Church Hall, The Terrace, Takapuna.

AMBURY SHIELD: Saturday 5 November at the Fairfield Baptist Church, 1101 Heaphy Terrace, Fairfield, Hamilton. 9:30am - 4:00pm.

ELLERSLIE STAMP FAIR: David Bevan. Ellerslie Primary School Hall, 12 Kalmia Street, Ellerslie. 10.00am-4.00pm.
Most fairs are held on the third Saturday of each month, with a few exceptions due to construction at Ellerslie Primary School.
The dates of the fairs later in the year are still to be finalised, however it is likely these dates will remain the same.
Dates: 26 March, 16 April, 14 May, 18 June, 16 July, 20 August, 17 September, 15 October, 19 November and 17 December.
