Exhibitions and Stamp Fairs
This year's Exhibition is being held on Saturday-Sunday 12-13 June, at the Mount Albert War Memorial Hall. The theme for this Exhibition will be the 1935 New Zealand Pictorials, which were issued 75 years ago.
There will be a display of material, a good range of dealers, and an exciting souvenir sheet for those who come through the door. The displays will be set up on the evening of Friday 11 June. If you are able to come along and help, from 4.00pm onwards, that would be greatly appreciated. The whole job takes no more than a couple of hours to complete.

New Zealand Inter-club 1 Frame Competition
This was held as part of the North Shore's annual exhibition, held this year on 5 September at Takapuna. Nine separate clubs, including two from the South Island, had entries. Each club submits five entries and there are four classes.
The APS had an entry, made up of exhibits from Bruce Webber "The New Zealand Penny Universal", Phil Platt "Sarawak - the Third Rajah 1934-1945': Paul Yapp "Ceylon: Edwardian Postcards and Lettercards", Bruce Chadderton "Marjan Rowinski - his War Years': and Ann Still "KGV Official Court Mourning".
The Waikato Philatelic Society were the winners, with 388 points, and the APS team came a close second with 385 points. Bruce Webber won top prize for the best traditional entry. Because Waikato were the winners, they get to host the competition next year.
